7. Jim Ross Raps (Dec 12, 2011)

Jim Ross is one of the finest pro wrestling announcers on the planet, but he's not exactly going to be threatening Snoop Dogg or being signed to Death Row Records. Put it this way: the closest JR has come to rap music is being in the NWA, and we're not talking about the one involving Dr. Dre or Eazy-E.

WWE thought it was a good idea to book Ross in a rap battle against Michael Cole for one reason and one reason only: someone behind the scenes wanted to put Jim in a situation he would surely hate and flop at. Meanwhile, Cole, as an over-the-top heel character, was Teflon; it didn't matter if Cole failed, because he was the villain.

JR, a beloved announcer millions had grown up listening to in the 90s, fluffed his lines and the segment bombed. It was hard not to feel bad for Ross, though, because he had been put in an impossible scenario.

Who wanted to hear JR spit some rhymes, anyway?
