3. The Live Sex Celebration (Jan 9, 2006)

Due to PG restrictions governing their programming, WWE aren't nearly as obsessed with sexual content as they once were. Just over a decade ago, though, Edge and Lita promised a 'Live Sex Celebration' on Raw the night after Edge had won the WWE Title at New Year's Revolution. Oh, and there was a nip slip.

Cavorting around a bed in the middle of the ring, the couple then got under the covers and supposedly had sex live on air before being cut short by Ric Flair's interruption. Before the 'Nature Boy' walked on set, people at home were expected to sit through some softcore frolicking that would've been mortifying to any non-fans walking in.

A clear ratings ploy, this was awkward at best; seeing thousands of people watch as Edge and Lita kissed, stripped and fooled around under the sheets just felt weird. One of Lita's breasts was briefly on show too, as if the skit needed any more help being controversial.
