10 Most Emotional Wrestling Matches

3. The Ultimate Warrior vs 'Macho Man' Randy Savage (WrestleMania VII)

Monsoon: "People are crying in this capacity crowd."

Heenan: "Maybe their shoes are too tight."

This was wrestling's version of the classic sloppy tear jerker as The Macho Man and Miss Elizabeth reunited and sent many of the 16,000 fans in attendance into floods of tears.

During the match, which had a retirement stipulation, Elizabeth was spotted in the crowd and the cameras would keep cutting to her as she seemingly grew more and more concerned for Savage's well being.

Despite taking five elbow drops, Warrior won the match after hitting the Macho King with three jumping shoulder blocks, the last of which sent him flying out of the ring.

After the match, Sensational Sherri came into the ring and attacked Savage, which prompted Elizabeth to jump the railings and fight the former Queen.

Shocked to see what his former manager had done for him, Savage emotionally embraced Elizabeth and sent the crowd into raptures.

The unfolding events turned Macho into a face again.
