Still fresh in the mind of every WWE fan, its difficult to argue that this wasnt the greatest PPV debut in the companys history. Im sure no one will need the story recapping in too much detailvillainous authority figure looks to have screwed valiant babyface in a blatant abuse of power, cue the arrival of the absolute biggest star in pro wrestling history to have never appeared in WWE. It doesnt get any bigger than that. Nearly thirty years since entering the business, and after decades of remaining as far removed from the company as possible, the time was finally right for the Stinger to join the bigtime. Its a story absolutely layered with history, given that Sting spent virtually his entire career as a competitor to the WWE. But given the current landscape of the industry, and the stage of his career that the Icon now finds himself, its little surprise that the former WCW star finally accepted WWEs overtures. It remains to be seen how Sting will be used going forwarda clash with Undertaker remains the dream, but a meeting with Triple H now seems more likely. Either way though, one things for sureno one will be forgetting this one in a hurry. It was always going to be one of the biggest debuts in the WWE, if and when it eventually became a reality And now, it finally has.
