Not many people remember the 1995 Royal Rumble match, and for good reason - for the only time in the bout's history wrestlers joined the match at 60 second intervals, meaning that the match was much shorter than a regular Royal Rumble and also felt very rushed. What people still remember more than 20 years later, though, is the ending.

Shawn Michaels was the number #1 entrant into the Royal Rumble, joined immediately by The British Bulldog at #2. The two men both ran the gauntlet, and when the smoke cleared, they were the only ones left - though admittedly, it was a weak field, with men like Lex Luger and Crush offering the greatest competition, and Owen Hart being eliminated after three seconds.

The Bulldog tossed Michaels over the ropes, but in a moment that's still replayed in Royal Rumble videos to this day, "The Heartbreak Kid" held on, with only one of his feet touching the floor. As per the rules of the match, he was still involved, so he snuck back in the ring and eliminated Bulldog to win the match. After that, everybody was sure to remember the rules.
