8. Sammy Guevara

Behavioural issues may be the only thing preventing Sammy Guevara from becoming a major wrestling headliner. Recently suspended when tasteless remarks made towards Sasha Banks four years ago re-emerged on Twitter, Guevara's independent career was plagued by similar problems, hence his banishment to the American scene's smaller stages prior to AEW. Now 27 and hopefully years removed from any troublesome behaviours, it is on him to prove this won't be an issue.

'The Spanish God's' qualities are legion. Under Chris Jericho's tutelage, Guevara is evolving into fully-formed, well-rounded pro-wrestler lightyears beyond the snot-nosed flippydoo he was a few years ago. He's as good at playing an arrogant, obnoxious sonuvabitch as anyone in AEW apart from his mentor, has immense personality and physical charisma, and while cutting long, exploratory promos isn't his game, Sammy is no slouch on the microphone either. Again, he'll find sharpening this tool easy whilst sitting under 'Le Champion's' learning tree.

Darby Allin gives Sammy an opponent he can feud on and off with for years, springboarding both to a main event spotlight someday. The importance of having a built-in long-term storyline can't be overstated, so don't bet against Guevara's success.
