2. Alexa Bliss And Her Alka Seltzer Mouth

So was Alexa Bliss meant to have rabies, or...?

At Extreme Rules this year, Charlotte Flair wrote off Lilly the Doll by tearing it to fluffy pieces with her hand. This allowed Alexa Bliss to enter a "for your consideration" ac-ting performance. Most considered it "f*cking sh*te," incidentally.

It was difficult to ascertain what the point or meaning - or, Christ almighty - lore of all this was because the commentary team sat in hushed silence. They treated the scene with reverence, like some atrocity had unfolded before them, when in reality, the insufferable Flair had destroyed an evil doll that that nobody took seriously. This doll was purported to have inhabited Jack The Ripper. Isn't a good thing that its innards were ripped to shreds? Why was this a solemn moment that we were presumably meant to...sympathise with?

What are we doing here?

Was the white foam pouring out of Alexa's mouth meant to...eurgh...symbolise that the evil had escaped, leaving her to grapple with the conscience of the Fiend's corruption?

How does this relate to the goo?

And why did whatever the f*ck it was take the form of an Alka Seltzer that was clearly visible when she opened her mouth?

Was the white stuff in her mouth just a further attempt to get sickos to say goodbye to the character in their own, wildly problematic way?
