When Brock Lesnar walked into WrestleMania XXX to battle The Undertaker, he had 23 years of history working against him.

The Undertaker had won every single one of his 21 WrestleMania matches before he met Lesnar, crushing opponents like Randy Orton, Triple H, and Shawn Michaels. "The Streak" had taken on a life of its own and was more valuable than any championship.

It became apparent throughout the match that 'Taker was not at 100%. Wear and tear had caught up with The Deadman and this inhuman character's real-life age was finally start to show.

When Lesnar put The Undertaker away with a third F5, it wasn't the noble end to The Streak many had fantasised. It was like watching an old dog be put down.

The fact that The Streak ended this way was horrible to watch. For many fans, The Undertaker's match at WrestleMania was sacred, as big a draw as any main event. As soon as Lesnar pinned The Phenom in New Orleans, that mystique vanished.

It was a moment that some fans never thought would happen and some fans never wanted to happen. The shocked silence of the crowd after the three count told the entire story and this is a moment that will live on in wrestling history forever.
