The current WWE champion (God it feels good to say this), Big E is finally getting the mega push he has deserved for a very long time. It has well and truly been one of those occasions where nice guys do finish first. And this wouldn’t have been possible without the kind of protective treatment WWE have given him over the past few months.

Ever since starting his Intercontinental Title run late last year, Big E has barely suffered a single moment of weakness. In this time, he has steamrolled most of his opposition. On the rare occasions he did have to take a loss, like dropping the IC title to Apollo Crews, it was ensured there plenty of shenanigans involved.

In a rather rare feat for WWE these days, months of strong booking actually led somewhere, when E cashed in his Money in the Bank contract to finally, finally (no Rock return) win the Big One. With the WWE Title deservedly around his waist, it’s safe to presume his momentum won't be slowing down its gyrating, any time soon.
