10 Most Heavily Protected Wrestlers In WWE Today
6. Alexa Bliss
*Sigh*
Alright, yes, Alexa Bliss hijacking Bray Wyatt’s gimmick and turning it into some weird, possessed doll, D-grade horror flick that looks like it was written as a high school assignment, is one of the biggest farces WWE have put up in recent times. Still, there is no denying Bliss is one of the most protected characters in the company right now.
Bliss’ transition over to the weird side began last year, after she was attacked by Bray Wyatt as part of his scheme to get to Braun Strowman (who, mind you, had been drowned in a swamp by that point). While this failed to invoke any emotional response from the presumably-resurrected Strowman, it did form a chainlink between Wyatt and Bliss.
Fast-forward to now, Bliss is getting the kind of treatment usually reserved for the ultra-strong supernatural characters. She no-sells moves, takes out opponents in single strikes, and is even allowed to repeatedly get the upper hand against the likes of Charlotte.
