Hunter Hearst Helmsley had been the dominant face of Monday Night Raw for the first few years of the 2000s. Then, shockingly, he was drafted to SmackDown! Well, for about two hours. You see, Hunter is so valuable that he is worth three other wrestlers. And we’re not just talking about a Rob Conway, and The Dicks either, he’s as good as The Dudley Boyz and Booker T combined!

At the end of the night, Hunter was taken back to Raw with a Dudleyz/Booker T trade. Probably a really good move for him, as SmackDown was absolutely awful at the time. Hunter got to stay in the top Raw storylines, and avoid Kenzo Suzuki and Heidenreich. In the short term, the move was good for The Dudleyz as they got a pay-per-view main event match against The Undertaker out of it...which they lost 2-on-1. They were released a year after.

As for Booker, the trade wasn’t too kind to him at first, but eventually he developed his King Booker gimmick on the blue brand, which saw him hit his career peak as a wrestler in WWE. It’s a bit of a wonder how things would have ended up had they stayed in place. But then, Hunter would have had to work Tuesdays.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
