Jacqueline cut her teeth in WCW during the early years of the war, acting as the manager to Kevin Sullivan and quickly establishing herself as a woman who was not afraid to mix it up with the men. She would often end up assisting Sullivan by bodyslamming his opponents before moving on to briefly manage Harlem Heat. Though something of a minor player during those years, upon her debut in the WWE in 1998 Jacqueline quickly achieved a more prominent position thanks to a combination of her in-ring skills and her willingness to flash a little bit of flesh during the era when the WWE was targeting a young adult demographic. She was brought into the promotion to take part in the feud between Marc Mero and Sable, acting as Meros new girlfriend, and she soon engaged in a series of matches and the odd bikini contest with the WWEs fastest rising star. She also holds the distinction of being the first champion of the then newly revived WWE Womens Division, scoring the win over Sable before dropping the belt to her later on. Similarly to Luna, Jacqueline played a huge part in legitimising Sable and her rough and tumble style, combined with stunning looks, ensured she became a fast favourite amongst fans during the course of the Monday Night Wars
