1. Hell In A Cell 2016

Charlotte Flair and Sasha Banks can now say they were the first women to headline a WWE pay-per-view, and not only that, but do so in Hell in a Cell.

Regardless of how people may feel about the lead-in to the match and the time it took to really get going, the sheer emotion because of the match's importance was enough to cause Hall of Famer Lita to tear up on Raw Talk afterwards. For anyone who has been following WWE in recent months, the momentum behind Charlotte and Sasha was undeniably driving them towards something big. But to actually witness their entrances and the realisation of the situation dawn on their faces as the Cell descended was something unbelievably special.

The simple fact that they were the first women to main event a pay-per-view is reason enough. However the added bonus of the 'genetically superior' daughter of a two time Hall of Famer taking on the then-champion but still underdog contributed to why this match worked. In short, this match and storyline, unlike many matches in the women's division of the past, was booked like any other storyline (aka. like a guy's match). In short, it has achieved exactly what it was supposed to: it seemed perfectly usual to see the pair headline such a huge event.
