10 Most Important Wrestlers In AEW’s History

6. Young Bucks

The Young Bucks promised to change tag team wrestling when they helped form AEW and it is fair to say that they have achieved this goal and then some. Since day one the tag team division has been a profiled part of the company, with the Bucks even putting over Private Party in their television debut as a tandem.

Since then, the brothers have found form on both sides of the heel/face divide, winning the AEW World Tag Team Championships twice and having all-time great matches against the Lucha Brothers, FTR, and the pairing of 'Hangman' Page and Kenny Omega. They were greatly involved in the aforementioned Elite saga that enveloped much of the company's creative output over its first couple of years.

The tag team division has certainly taken a backseat in recent times, but it has still allowed for acts such as the Jurassic Express and The Acclaimed to get over like they wouldn't in any other company. Fans will argue whether the Young Bucks are one of the greatest tag teams of all time, but they are undoubtedly vital to AEW's existence and continued success.
