10 Most Improved Wrestlers Of The Past Decade

9. Tama Tonga

As the son of former WWE/WCW superstar Haku, Tama Tonga may have been destined for success in wrestling. However, unlike his brother (who currently competes for New Japan as Tonga Loa but started in WWE as Camacho), he made his first splash in Japan.

Joining New Japan in 2010, Tama Tonga worked mostly in an enhancement role - both in the heavyweight and junior heavyweight divisions. Even when he helped form Bullet Club in 2013 with Bad Luck Fale, Karl Anderson, and Prince Devitt, he was still the lowest-ranking member of the group, and would often be the one to take the pinfall.

As time passed, though, it was clear that he was getting better, and once Karl Anderson and Doc Gallows left the company for WWE, Tama Tonga got his chance to prove himself. He and his brother became the top heel tag team in New Japan, racking up a pair of reigns as IWGP Tag Team Champions and putting on a great performance in the 2016 World Tag League. The future looks bright for the star.
