8. Bayley

Today, Bayley reigns on Raw as the Women's Champion, and nobody would argue against her deserving it. Though she stumbled a bit after coming to WWE's main roster, she spent the prior year and a half establishing herself not just as a key part in the success of NXT's women's division, but as one of the best babyfaces in the entire company.

It didn't happen overnight, though. After cutting her teeth in the indies and coming to NXT, she got the gimmick that would make her a star, but again, there was still a ways to go. While working with the likes of Sasha Banks, Charlotte, and Becky Lynch, she developed a ring style that would make her one of the best wrestlers in the world.

It was on full display in 2015, when she engaged Sasha Banks in one of the best feuds in WWE history. At TakeOver: Brooklyn, Banks and Bayley stole the show in a classic match that saw Bayley finally become NXT Women's Champion - and two months later, they became the first women to headline a major WWE event. Like Banks before her, Bayley had arrived.
