10 Most Improved Wrestlers Of The Past Decade
2. Roman Reigns
WWE has used Roman Reigns abysmally during their years-long quest to make him the company's top babyface, but that doesn't mean that he hasn't grown leaps and bounds as a performer.
When The Shield first appeared on the scene in 2012, Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose - former independent stars - were considered the workhorses, while Reigns was the pet project who needed to be protected. By the time the group split, though, they were regularly having great six-man matches where every member of the squad pulled his weight.
Needless to say, singles competition was an adjustment for Reigns, but he quickly proved he could handle it, having great matches with the likes of Randy Orton, Daniel Bryan, and Brock Lesnar. Though he's still not a miracle worker (he couldn't carry Triple H to a great match at WrestleMania 32), he's since proven himself a ring general in battles for the WWE Championship.
Now let's just hope they turn him heel.
