Pranks, or ribs as they are called, are very commonplace in wrestling. The boys travel an awful lot and the ribs are used as a way to break the monotony and keep everyone entertained. However, there is a line between funny and mean-spirited, and the Dynamite Kid crossed that line constantly.

Dynamite was a notorious locker room bully who shot up steroids at every opportunity and was known for his short temper. He was also known for his brutal ribs so, when the Rougeau brothers came back from their match and found their clothes cut up into little pieces, they blamed Dynamite and his partner Davey Boy Smith. In reality, Curt Hennig  was a the man who did the deed but Curt had no problem blaming it on the Bulldogs.

The Rougeaus got in Dynamite's face about the whole thing and Dynamite responded by knocking the brothers to the floor with shots to the head and leaving the room.

Jacques plotted his revenge against Dynamite and got it a few weeks later when he sucker punched Dynamite while holding a roll of coins and knocked several teeth out. Rougeau continued beating on Dynamite until Pat Patterson and Bad News Brown broke it up. In a panic, Patterson gave Dynamite some money to go to the hospital but, a few days later, Vince McMahon wanted a meeting.

During the meeting with Vince, Dynamite promised to let the situation go if the Rougeaus paid for his new teeth (even though Patterson had already paid him). The Rougeaus begrudgingly agreed and Dynamite pocketed a cool $1800 from the incident.
