Keeping with the WCW era of WarGames carnage and another bout of real-life tension that ultimately had a noticeable impact on the titular contest itself.

Heading into the 1995 Fall Brawl event, Hulk Hogan went out of his way to ask Vader for his help in seeing off The Dungeon of Doom at said event inside of the famous structure. But before the masked titan could line up alongside the dream unit of Hogan, Sting, and Randy Savage within the iconic setting, a backstage skirmish saw his time with WCW come to an abrupt end.

Said real-life throw-down involved The Mastodon brawling with Paul Orndorff in the locker room around this time. And it wasn't too long before the company decided to completely drop Vader's attachment to the incoming WarGames epic and part ways with the legendary big man in the process.

In Vader's place, Lex Luger was eventually recruited by The Hulkster for the battle with the aforementioned DoD, with the monstrous star's previously scheduled WCW World Championship showdown with Hogan in the early days of Monday Nitro also being handed over to Luger, too.
