10 Most Infamous Wrestling Losing Streaks

8. Rosa Mendes

Rosa Mendes won just one WWE singles match since her main roster debut in 2009. Bless her heart, but this might have had something to do with her being a genuinely awful professional wrestler.

Try searching for her name on YouTube to gauge the basis of her appeal. The search does not bring up "Rosa Mendes classic match". It does not bring up "Rosa Mendes Divas Title". Instead, the second result is "Rosa Mendes Wardrobe Malfunction On Main Event" - closely followed by "Rosa Mendes Kisses Brie Bella".

From a kayfabe perspective, it's impossible to determine why WWE kept her around, even before the 2015 Divas Revolution brought with it a sea change of quality and genuine focus. She lost so often that one begins to suspect that WWE used to hire women solely on the basis of their looks, and that wrestling ability is irrelevant. It's almost - almost - as if somebody in a position of significant influence and power found her, in particular, attractive.

Total Divas had so much to answer for.
