4. Maven Gets Drunk (2002)

If somebody told you that Maven almost missed his iconic dropkick on The Undertaker during the 2002 Rumble because he was p*ssed, you'd probably call them a liar. Almost unbelievably, it's actually true. Maven dished the deets during an interview with Fightful in 2019.

'Taker wanted him to take some aspirin so his blood would thin out before a post-elimination beating, but Maven said he was allergic to the pills. So, in true old-school fashion, 'The Deadman' bust out some Jack Daniels and Maven did some shots. By the time the Rumble match came around, he was sh*t-faced.

This is not a joke.

The Tough Enough winner is surprised that he managed to connect on the dropkick at all. He was "two sheets to the wind" by that stage, and ended up taking his bloody beatdown with a drunken haze hanging over him.
