An icon of the World of Sport era, Saint held Lightweight Championship gold over a dozen times, and was known as 'The Man of a Thousand Holds' decades before Dean Malenko laced up his boots.

A boxer who Billy Robinson helped transform into a catch wrestling sensation, Saint is cited as an inspiration by wrestlers like Johnny Gargano, and his influence on the sport is obvious if you know where to look. Any time you see Zack Sabre Jr. in the ring, for example, one is reminded of Johnny Saint (and Jim Breaks, of course).

Although modern fans have only seen his work in smaller venues like Chikara's King of Trios tournament, Saint's time out of the British spotlight has been well spent helping shape the next generation, including a stint as a trainer at WWE's Performance Center.
