10 Most Injury-Prone WWE Stars Of All Time

10. Randy Orton

Randy Orton's WWE career has been plagued by injuries. Despite being a bonafide superstar and a sure-fire future Hall of Famer, it's hard not to wonder how much further Orton could have gone, were it not for those ever-present and unwanted injuries. Orton was born with hypermobile shoulders, meaning that his joints stretch further than usual, making the risk of injury that much greater. Orton's first serious injury was, you guessed it, a shoulder injury. The injury happened in late 2002 and seriously halted his progress on the show. He was sidelined for several months. Not long after his comeback as a member of Evolution, Orton broke his foot in a house show match (in which Bubba Dudley and Batista both suffered injuries as well). Orton was said to have been really depressed about that latest setback but once he came back he was able to avoid time on the bench. For a little while, at least. The Legend Killer's shoulder woes continued in spring 2005 and Orton was booked for more surgery. He broke his clavicle at One Night Stand 2008 and then re-injured himself in a motorcycle accident a couple of months later. At Over The Limit 2010, Orton bizarrely separated his right shoulder when performing his signature canvas-pounding taunt. Mr. RKO takes extremely good care of his body these days and is reportedly heavily into stretching before matches as well as icing down afterwards. That makes sense, considering the miles that are already on Orton's body.
