10 Most Injury-Prone WWE Stars Of All Time

9. Mark Henry

He may be the World's Strongest Man, but he's also one that is susceptible to injuries. Henry was battling injuries before he came to WWE, having suffered a back injury while training for a weightlifting contest. His WWE career was continually pushed back as he requested more and more time to convalesce in 1996. In WWE, Henry sufffered a host of very painful injuries. In 2002 he suffered a knee injury, needing to take many months out to heal up. Then, in February 2004 (just as he was starting to gain some momentum on Raw) Henry tore his quadriceps muscle which pinned him to the bench for over year. When he returned in 2006, he was booked as a killer on Smackdown, taking out the likes of Kurt Angle, Mysterio and The Undertaker. Right before a big grudge match with Batista, however, Henry tore his patella tendon completely off the bone in a six-man tag match on the July 15th Saturday Night's Main Event. Mizark needed to take a further nine months off in 2012/13 after he required yet more surgery for another injury. Since his return in early 2013, he's frequently taken hiatuses to recover from wear and tear and little niggling injuries. Clearly in the twilight of his career, Henry can't afford any more major injuries. His body is banged up enough as it is.
