In a throwback to how #DIY defeated The Revival for the NXT Tag Titles, both Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa got Akam & Rezar locked into tandem submissions. The only problem this time was that The Authors of Pain are much larger and stronger than Dawson & Wilder.

Gargano found himself being lifted off of the mat while his hands were still clasped tightly around his monstrous opponent. Johnny was then slammed down onto Tommaso, ending both submission attempts.
