8. Sammy Guevara Is Literally Run Over - AEW Dynamite (6 May)
Sammy Guevara was literally run over by a golf cart on a May edition of AEW Dynamite. If this doesn't qualify as insane, then what does?
Teaming with fellow Inner Circle pal Chris Jericho, Le Sex Gods battled Kenny Omega and Matt Hardy in a wild Street Fight to close the episode, and in true AEW fashion, the lack of rules in place meant we were in for something wacky. As soon as 'The Best Bout Machine' and 'The Broken One' stepped behind the wheel of a golf cart backstage, you knew exactly what was coming.
Having a member of the roster be run over is insane enough, but it's the bump taken by 'The Spanish God' here that qualifies it for this list. He could have opted to go directly into the cart with his body - instead, though, he decided to go head-first into the corner of it. Keep in mind this was on a concrete surface since they were backstage, and you have to wonder how Sammy didn't suffer any serious head injuries off the back of this.
It wasn't the only hilarious GIF we got of Sammy this year, but this was certainly the most insane out of the crop.
