Throughout the years, Royal Rumble has carved a niche for itself as one of WWE's proudest annual presentations by delivering a titular 30-man brawl. Latterly, women have joined in the fun, and the female roster now has a 30-woman match of its own. For Rumble-lovers, this focus on the actual match itself is a dream, but there's something else the Rumble has given us since it launched in 1988.

Absolute unbridled, unapologetic amounts of sheer insanity.

It makes sense when one thinks about it. The Rumble is commonly considered the kickoff point for WWE's 'Road To WrestleMania', and so there's an air of excitement that's generally been missing from the previous few months. This is presumably why there's been table bumps, 'I Quit' mayhem, chair shots and mega-stunts galore on January's pay-per-view stop.

Think of this as a sadist's guide to the show's back catalogue. There's an obvious slant towards the Attitude Era, if only because that period was WWE's most chaotic and stunt-filled, but there are also mad spots from more recent times in there too.

Enjoy the ride...
