8. Dean Ambrose Is The Last Man Standing
Dean Ambrose and Kevin Owens battled in a Last Man Standing Match for the Intercontinental Championship during January's Royal Rumble. By the end of it all, it truly felt like they gave everything they had. After Ambrose shoved his opponent over the top of the ringpost, Owens destroyed two tables that he himself stacked up several minutes earlier. Owens was laid out in a pile of busted wood as the ref counted to ten.
Astonishingly, this crash wasn't the last we'd see of Owens on this night. He would later limp to the ring to compete in the 30-Man Royal Rumble Match as well. It's no surprise this fighter would become Universal Champion later in the year.
