It's clear that the WWE still see Roman Reigns as "the guy." As always, the company is focused on the look rather than the talent. That's not to say that Reigns isn't talented, but he still has some work to do. It's still a little too soon for Reigns to carry the title. Still, it would not be at all shocking to see the promotion rush this. It really all depends on how long they feel the Authority storyline should go on. With cracks in the Authority already showing, they may opt to fast track things and put the belt on another hopeful. As far as plot goes, it would be the one thing to put Rollins over the edge, and Reigns is already there, waiting in the wings. Would another candidate be a better option at this point? Yes, but that may not be how things work out. The WWE likes to really back the horses they pick in the title race, regardless of fan sentiment. If they choose to stick to their guns, it will be Reigns wearing the title within six months.
