10 Most Memorable WWE Hell In A Cell Moments

2. €œThat€™s, That€™s Gotta Be KANE€

When you talk to any longtime wrestling fans and say the term €œHell In A Cell€ and ask them what comes to their mind, Kane€™s entrance in the inaugural match in October 1997 will be on the list. WWE had carved a great story with Paul Bearer proclaiming Undertaker€™s brother was still alive and taunting him at every opportunity. After a grueling match in the cell with Shawn Michaels and a shot at the WWE title on the line, the Demon from Death Valley had the match won, until the lights went out, red mist and lights filled the arena and we saw Kane for the first time. He ripped off the cell door, looked his brother dead in the eye, delivered a tombstone and left. The Kane character has gone through a lot in the last 18 years, but the strength of that debut and how well it was booked is why Glenn Jacobs is still earning a fortune playing the character almost two decades later. It would start the long road to WrestleMania XIV with the feuding brothers and it put the cell on the map as a match where anything can happen. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ASmdxXaOzd4
