10 Most Memorable WWE Jobbers

1. Brooklyn Brawler

Really, who else could top this list? Steve Lombardi, better known as The Brooklyn Brawler, has had perhaps one of the longest tenures within the company, dating all the way back to 1983. Much like S.D. Jones before him, he did know the taste of gold before signing on with Vince and being used as enhancement talent. Lombardi is a road agent for WWE these days, and can be seen in the background of various productions, thus keeping him in a little bit of the spotlight. He still breaks out the Brooklyn Brawler persona for special occasions, though even more rarely, one might also see him appear as Abe "Knuckleball" Schwartz. In addition to his long-lived tenure within the company, the Brawler has also been something of a "jobber to the stars," putting over the likes of The Rock, Kurt Angle, and Shawn Michaels, while being referenced with a sort of sarcastic reverence by John Cena. He has picked up the occasional victory, including one over Triple H, albeit in a handicap match, and can even say he was managed by none other than the legendary Bobby "The Brain" Heenan. While some names on this list might be more memorable in the here and now, and others due to how entertaining they've been, the Brooklyn Brawler has a longevity that no one else here does for simply going out there and wrestling. For that, he's our number-one pick as the most memorable jobber in WWE. ----- Those are our picks, but how about yours? Maybe other jobbers over the years have struck a greater chord, such as Alex "The Pug" Porteau? Maybe T.L. Hopper gave you nightmares, or you felt The Goon was nothing more than a mockery of the great sport of hockey? There are plenty to choose from, and while we went for a pure-WWE approach on this one (so no other organizations), maybe you know someone worthy of recognition? If so, share in the comments below, where they can job by laying under the folks on this list!
