Bill Goldberg makes the list not so much for the arrest itself, but for the events that transpired because of it. In January of 1999, Goldberg was scheduled for a match on Nitro with then-WCW Champion Kevin Nash. Before the match could take place, Goldberg was arrested for what would later be revealed as stalking. The charge was filed by Miss Elizabeth, who would later admit to lying and have the charge dropped, leading to Goldberg's release. Unfortunately for Goldberg, and fans of WCW in general, what occurred while he was gone was a little something that would become known as the Fingerpoke of Doom.
