10 Most Misused WWE Superstars Right Now

9. Damien Sandow

The former Mr. Money in the Bank and Intellectual Savior of the Unwashed Masses has been humiliated and disgraced since losing his one World Heavyweight Championship opportunity to John Cena last fall. That loss should have been the start of a huge push, especially considering how good he looked despite dropping the match. Instead, he has been on a downward spiral that has seen him undergo a personality crisis. Donning the disguise of everyone from The Miz to X-Men's Magneto, Sandow has been a punching bag for any and every Superstar he has been unlucky to compete against. Sandow is a solid in-ring worker but an even more compelling talker. He demonstrated as much while cutting some of the truly entertaining promos that he did early in his main roster run. Sure, he needed desperately to drop the silly blue robe and prove that he could excel beyond the gimmick handed to him. Throughout his two-plus years on the main roster, he has proven to be a very dynamic performer and has even made the best of the ridiculousness he has been forced to endure since last October. Unfortunately, the likelihood that he will ever recover to the point that fans buy him as a legitimate contender to the Intercontinental or United States title, let alone the heavyweight belt, is incredibly unlikely.
