10 Most Needlessly Elaborate WWE Finishing Moves Ever

6. Leg Drop (Hulk Hogan)

This is another that will divide opinion. Only Hulk Hogan could get so much mileage out of dropping his butt on literally hundreds of wrestlers over the years. It was all about anticipation and teasing for what has become known as the 'Leg Drop Of Doom'.

No matter how long Hogan stalled in the lead up to the leg drop, heels were cursed to lay flat and check out the arena lights for a while. As opponents grew more accustomed to the ceiling, Hulk would cup his ear and gesture to fans that he was about to finish the match. Meanwhile, crucial seconds were ticking away.

Go back and time some of those old leg drops. You'll be surprised to learn that Hogan could often be seen taking up to 30 seconds (after hitting a big boot) to drop the leg.

That's a long period of inaction in a wrestling match.
