Story: WrestleMania 23 is one of the biggest grossing single events in WWE history. In the main event slot, John Cena faced Shawn Michaels for the WWE Title. Other big matches included The Undertaker vs. Batista, and the infamous 'Battle Of The Billionaires' between Vince McMahon and Donald Trump. Represented by a wrestler of their choosing, McMahon had Umaga on his side and Trump had Bobby Lashley. That wasn't the original plan. Initially, the bout was supposed to feature Booker T and Shawn Michaels, instead of Umaga and Lashley. That idea was canned when Michaels was inserted into the title bout, and Booker was slotted into the 'Money In The Bank' Ladder opener. Why People Believe It: Umaga and Bobby Lashley have long been considered somewhat odd choices for such a featured match. It'd be understandable if WWE wanted to try and launch the careers of both men by having them star in such a lofty position, but Booker T and Shawn Michaels would have been much bigger choices. Should We Believe It: Reports suggest that Triple H was originally scheduled to face Cena. When he was injured, plans had to change, and therefore Michaels was chosen as the most eligible candidate. It's unclear whether or not this can be taken as fact, but there's a good chance that there's at least some truth to this one..
