Story: In the mid-90's, Sunny was one of the most gorgeous women in all of pro wrestling. Alongside her real-life boyfriend, Chris Candido, she entered the WWF in 1995. Together, the pair soon joined Tom Prichard and formed 'The Bodydonnas' tag-team. It didn't take long for Sunny to steal the spotlight, but there were real life problems behind the curtain. One notorious story reports that Jake Roberts became romantically involved - to put things politely - with the couple. The relationship was born out of drugs, which both Sunny and Candido were becoming wrapped up in on the road. A well-known drug user, Roberts provided them with drugs in exchange for sex. Why People Believe It: Even in the mid-90's, Sunny was earning a reputation for seeing other wrestlers behind Candido's back. It's not that surprising that people would choose to believe stories such as this one. Should We Believe it: This one is really anyone's guess, although it does seem a little sensationalist. The internet is ideal for rumours such as these, because if enough people pedal the same story, it suddenly becomes accepted. There's no evidence to suggest this one is true.
