The Legend: That, as part of his hazing/initiation rituals, JBL would soap guys up in the locker room showers. Why People Believe It: Because wrestling is really, really weird. Oh, and Edge referred to it in his 2004 autobiography. According to the Hall of Famer, when he was first starting to wrestle on WWE TV in 1998, he turned around one evening in the showers to see Bradshaw tenderly caressing his buttocks. Edge realised it was a 'friendly' rib and just no-sold it and began joking around with his caresser. There have, however, been some more unsavoury stories floating around cyberspace that have to do with JBL sexually assaulting a wrestler in the showers for a serious infraction. Is It True: Well, Edge pretty much came out and said that Bradshaw soaped him the shower. It's doubtful that he was the only one and JBL probably just did this to test guys. The other, more serious allegations have no real merit to them since nobody has come out and confirmed them. Until they do, it's hard to say for certain just how far Bradshaw's 'shower time fun' went.
