3. His Hazing Caused WWE Stars To Quit The Company
The Legend: JBL's constant harassment of some of his employees became so bad that they were moved to quit the company altogether. Why People Believe It: Because JBL is a self-admitted bully and hazer, that's why. He's made no secret of the fact that he bullied guys like The Miz and Blue Meanie in the past and refuses to apologise for his behaviour. Those guys didn't let it get to them too much, but others were not so accepting of JBL's antics. Former WCW wrestler Billy Silverman landed himself in wrestler's court (where Bradshaw served as the prosecutor) after he was found to be upgrading his plane tickets to first class, a big no-no in the weird world of WWE. He was ordered to get everyone drinks on a future flight but the vernal harassment from JBL apparently forced him to quit. Remember Palmer Cannon? Don't worry, not many do (he was the 'network executive' on Smackdown in 2005/06), but he actually flew himself home from a tour of Europe in April 2006 because he was so sick of the abuse he was getting from JBL (who was apparently making distasteful comments about Cannon's recently deceased brother) and others. Is It True: Yes, JBL was so overbearing and disrespectful to some members of the WWE locker room that they decided they would rather work elsewhere than have to associate with him.
