8. He Wanted To Fight Samoa Joe

The Legend: That Samoa Joe and Kevin Nash almost fought following an incident at Turning Point 2007. Why People Believe It: Samoa Joe caused quite a stir before the six-man main event of Turning Point. He was instructed to go to the ring and introduce Eric Young as the replacement for Scott Hall, who had no-showed the event. Joe tore into Da Bad Guy in an unscripted promo, concluding with 'Scott Hall, chico, kiss my ass, you punked out and you're a punk'. Joe's partner Nash looked noticeably unhappy and there was supposedly some kind of altercation between the two of them backstage. Is It True: According to Nash's YouShoot, he delivered two slaps to the side of the Samoan Submission Machine's face in the back. That's his version of events, anyway. Speculation at the time was that the incident was a work, but that wasn't the case. Either way, Nash and Joe mended fences soon after and Nash considers Joe a friend.
