8. He Hates Ric Flair

The Legend: That Scott Steiner hates Ric Flair, stemming from an incident way back in the early-'90s in WCW.

Why People Believe It: Because, as with Triple H, Steiner has made no secret of the fact that he hates 'The Nature Boy'. There are rumours that Flair vetoed Rick Steiner beating him (in under five minutes) and becoming World Heavyweight Champion back in the early-'90s, which could be the catalyst for the heat. Steiner famously went totally off-script and cut a scathing promo on Flair during a 7 February 2000 edition of Nitro. He labelled Flair a 'jealous old bastard', accused him of getting Steve Austin fired and ended his tirade by saying that 'WCW sucks!'. Steiner was suspended for two weeks (with pay) for the incident. After being informed of his suspension at the next evening's Thunder taping, Steiner saw Ric Flair in the parking lot of the building and apparently threatened to beat him up, with Flair running away. Steiner has been trashing Flair in interviews ever since, although the two have worked together professionally in WWE and TNA.

Is It True: Yes. Steiner does not like Ric Flair one bit. He doesn't think he's a great wrestler and has also made claims that the only reason Flair was around WWE in 2002/3 was to carry Triple H's bags. It may be insulting to some that Steiner would talk that way about a legend like Flair, but he's not known for lying.
