6. Hulk Hogan vs. Yokozuna - WrestleMania IX
Next we have one of the most impromptu matches in WWE history, which came during the closing moments of WrestleMania IX. After Bret Hart had lost his WWE title to the colossal Yokozuna, Hulk Hogan made his way to the ring to check on the fallen Hitman. The Hulkster got a whole lot more than he bargained for though when Mr Fuji announced that Yokozuna was challenging Hogan to a match right there and then. The bold proposal backfired on the newly-crowned champ though when Fuji inadvertently threw salt into Yokozunas eyes. This enabled Hogan to take advantage, dropping the leg to secure the victory and win the title in just 22 seconds. Fans were already upset that the babyface Hart had been usurped by Yokozuna in the initial match. But for Hogan to then come out to steal the limelight was a step too far for many. It was the kind of booking logic that had a fair few fans narked to say the very least. Oh yeah, and Hogan would go on to leave the company just a few months down the line. Go figure
