10 Most Obscure Wrestling References In Hip Hop Songs

7. Big Pun - "It's So Hard"

"Poppin s**t like a Nazi, iced out like DiBiase."

Legendary New York MC, Big Pun, is a perfect example of an elite MC that left us too soon. Like other hip-hop artists who came from the five boroughs during the golden era of the 1990s, Pun was the type of rapper who clearly enjoyed flexing his lyrical prowess on a song. After all, he's the guy who gave us the line:

"Dead in the middle of Little Italy little did we know / that we riddled some middlemen who didn't do diddly."

Although Pun has never shied away from intricate wordplay, he was just as good at getting his point across with a straight-forward line. On his posthumous single, It's So Hard, he mixes in his trademark humour with an extremely cocky bar about being on the same level as legendary WWF heel Ted DiBiase

While we're not sure if Pun's declaration was accurate - especially after DiBiase received the Million Dollar Belt - it certainly gave us a chuckle.
