10 Most One-Sided Brutal Beatdowns In UFC History

7. Ronda Rousey Vs. Holly Holm

Ronda Rousey's UFC career is the perfect example of a fast rise to the top and an even quicker decline and it all started with this title fight against Holly Holm. Although both women were undefeated in their MMA careers, Rousey's dominance made her seem like an unstoppable juggernaut who couldn't be stopped.

Not only was she an exceptional judoka, whose armbar finishes became almost inevitable during the early part of her career, but she was also beating opponents with her striking now. Leading up to her title fight with Holm, Rousey had beaten three out of her four previous opponents using strikes.

Although her newfound skills had worked against fighters like Bethe Correia and Alexis Davis, Holm exposed her game as basic and essentially unthreatening. The former world boxing champion beat Rousey to a bloody pulp, all while dodging the judoka's desperate attempts to get the clinch and take the fight to the ground.

Eventually, an exhausted Rousey was put out of her misery by Holm, who landed a crushing head kick that put her unconscious and completely shocked the world.
