10 Most One-Sided Brutal Beatdowns In UFC History

6. Georges St Pierre Vs. BJ Penn II - UFC 94

The rivalry between French-Canadian superstar, Georges St. Pierre, and longtime lightweight great, BJ Penn, is a storied one built on both men's quest for greatness in one of the toughest divisions in the sport.

After destroying Matt Hughes for the second time, obliterating Jon Fitch and revenging his loss to Matt Serra, GSP wanted to continue his reign atop of the UFC's welterweight division. Penn, however, wanted to get back the welterweight belt that he never truly lost, after leaving the UFC following a contract dispute.

The two had fought to a close split decision previously, with St. Pierre coming out on top. However, the stakes were far higher this time as the title was on the line. While their first scrap was a tight and controversial affair, St. Pierre ended the debate regarding who was the better man by destroying the former champion with his more creative striking, well-timed double-leg takedowns and crushing top pressure.

For lack of a better term, he broke Penn. In fact, he did so to the point that Penn's corner felt like they needed to pull him out of the fight before he suffered any real serious damage.
