10 Most Over-HATED Wrestlers In The World Right Now

3. The Young Bucks

The hate thrown at The Young Bucks is almost identical to that received by Kenny Omega. They, like their long-time associate, are easy to aim at for those who don't like the change in modern wrestling they have come to represent, with the brothers Jackson frequent targets for those bent out of shape by what they have accomplished over the past few years.

Again, there are plenty of valid, good-faith criticisms to send the Bucks' way. Their brand of tag team wrestling is never going to be for everyone. If that's the case, fair play. Art is subjective. One man's spotfest is another man's masterpiece.

Claiming the Bucks are holding wrestling back when they have been at the forefront of the sport's evolution over the past decade is too much, though. Outdated claims like "they don't sell" and "they don't tell stories" prove, if anything, that the critic isn't actually watching them. Yes, their matches are typically adrenaline-pumpers featuring multiple highspots, but even in 2018, the duo crafted a year-long story based around Matt selling his increasingly injured back. The duo are far from the act they were at the start of their careers.

The Bucks semi-lean into the criticisms with their current heel characters, too, creating a situation where some of the most vociferous haters are actively being worked. That, in itself, is rather poetic.
