10 Most Overlooked WWE Hell In A Cell Spots
4. Brock Lesnar Destroys Undertaker's Hand With A Chair (No Mercy 2002)
The first encounter between Brock Lesnar and The Undertaker inside of the cell might still qualify as one of the best overall matches these two ever put on. Although Lesnar was incredibly green and 'Taker was in the midst of his unfortunate Big Evil gimmick, they were able to tell one hell of a story inside that steel structure.
That story involved massive amounts of blood and a few extra heapings of brutality. Also, the way Paul Heyman worked himself into the match - even though he was outside of the cell wall - was a fantastic throwback to the days of Jimmy Hart.
It was actually Heyman's involvement that created one of the best spots in the match. Taker came into this match wearing a cast on his injured hand, a fact that Lesnar tried to exploit in the most savage way possible: By annihilating it with a chair.
After an extremely creative spot that involved 'Taker using Heyman's tie to repeatedly yank him into the cage wall, Lesnar flipped the script. He tied a belt around Taker's cast and had Heyman pull it through the cage so that he couldn't move his hand. Then Brock went off, bashing the hell out of his hand with a chair. It was a sadistic move, and one that packed a realistic punch.
