It'll still take the great AJ Styles a while to come close to what CM Punk achieved between 2011-2013.

Once WWE settled on Punk at Survivor Series 2011 (after dropping the ball on his red hot summer), there was no stopping him. For 434 days, Punk turned from indy darling struggling to gain house room in WWE's elite pack to a shining example of what hard work, creativity and hardheadedness can do for one's career.

Dolph Ziggler, The Miz, Alberto Del Rio, Daniel Bryan, Chris Jericho, John Cena, Big Show, Kane and Ryback. Those were all men Punk worked extensively with during his long reign as WWE Champ. It wasn't until The Rock popped his head back around the door and WWE plumped for a rematch between he and Cena at 'Mania 29 that Punk's stranglehold ended.

Had WWE stuck to their aforementioned 'Once In A Lifetime' pitch, who knows how long Punk's reign might've lasted. Unless Styles keeps on keeping on with the phenomenal performances he's been giving since last November, it'll always be CM Punk who instantly springs to mind as the title's main man during the PG era.

Do you agree with these choices? Are there any other WWE Title reigns from the PG era that stick out in your mind? Let us know in the comments!
