10 Most Pointless WWE Title Wins

9. Deuce 'n Domino Defeat London & Kendrick

A near-year long reign with the WWE Tag Team titles came to an abrupt halt during a 2007 Milan, Italy taping of Smackdown when relative newcomers Deuce 'n Domino dethroned longstanding champions Brian Kendrick and Paul London.

Since defeating MNM at May 2006's Judgment Day pay-per-view, the duo were quietly unstoppable on the neglected blue brand, providing reliable midcard matches on the barren Smackdown-only pay-per-views and listless telecasts.

It was a baffling decision to award the greaser throwbacks their first and only tag title run, with the duo failing to resonate with live crowds since their January 2007 debut and repeated non-title victories over the champions.

The belts did nothing to elevate the tandem, despite game efforts from Cliff 'Domino' Compton and Sim 'Deuce' Snuka to get the act over, and they were defeated by frenemy partnership MVP and Matt Hardy later that summer.

The team would later oust valet Cherry for Maryse, then disband following a string of defeats.

London and Kendrick's momentum never recovered from the loss, with a switch in brands resulting in them trading the Raw Tag Team titles over house shows before quietly splitting in 2008's roster shake-up.
