10 Most Popular WWE Moments On YouTube

9. Sting Joins Forces With Randy Orton (49m)

In hindsight, the build towards Sting's first WWE match was pretty good. The wheels would come off things at WrestleMania 31 when he lost to Triple H instead of winning and carrying some momentum forward, though yeah, that build was rather well done in parts. Arguably the best came on the 16 March 2015 episode of Raw.

There, WWE decided to amalgamate hype for Sting vs. Trips and Randy Orton vs. Seth Rollins by having the WCW icon and 'The Viper' join forces to fend off The Authority.

Fans obviously liked the moment, because it's pulled a cool 49,259,697 million views on YouTube to date. It'd be interesting to poll those people and find out how many thought Sting losing his first ever match under the WWE banner (whether it was against Triple H or not) was a solid idea.

Another thing to note is how tepid commentary from JBL and Booker T is here. They just don't sound too excited compared to Michael Cole's excellent sell job.
