In his initial run with the World Wrestling Federation as Diesel in the early 1990s, Kevin Nash went from being a big guy standing behind a flexing Shawn Michaels to one of the most protected men in the company. Nash's rise to the top of the company was astronomical to say the least, eventually passing Michaels on his route to the quickest World Championship win in company history.

Diesel was pinned a grand total of four times in his WWF career, and only two of these could be described as being clean. Shawn Michaels pinned him at In Your House 7 via low blow, artificial leg and fire extinguisher, and Razor Ramon defeated him at SummerSlam 1994 after Shawn Michaels kicked Big Daddy Cool in the gob.

Bret Hart and The Undertaker were responsible for the clean defeats, the former small packaging his way to victory at Survivor Series 1995 and the latter defeating Big Sexy at WrestleMania XII.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
